Custom Sawn River Logs

We have been working with Salvage King who have been mining old growth redwood and old growth fir from the Western U.S.'s rivers. This wood can be highly mineralized and variegated and some so old that it was ax-cut!

We fully endorse selective wood harvest techniques and also are in contact with salvage operations so as to more fully utilize the wood that is already down. We use a bandsaw,when possible, to limit waste.

Our specialty has been cabinet panels,counter tops,door and window components,or custom sawn carving blocks. We can saw timbers to 30 feet or longer by special order.
